1. – THE TEST
1.1) The Pedestrian Test called “CORRIDA INTERNACIONAL DE
SÃO SILVESTRE” (SÃO SILVESTRE INTERNATIONAL
RACE), instituted by journalist Cásper Líbero, whose
regulation is in accordance to the rule 240 of the Federação
Internacional de Atletismo (IAAF) and correspond to norm 7 of Street
Races from Confederação Brasileira de Atletismo (CBAT)
for recognition of street races in National Level, from now on called
EVENT, will be realized/accomplished in December 31st, 2006, in
São Paulo city, 15km of distance, with the participation
of BOTH SEX PEOPLE duly enrolled, from now on called Athletes, under
any climatic condition.
1.2) CORRIDA INTERNACIONAL DE SÃO SILVESTRE (SÃO
SILVESTRE INTERNATIONAL RACE) is property of Fundação
Cásper Líbero, being realized/accomplished and promoted
by Gazeta Esportiva.Net.
REDE GLOBO DE TELEVISÃO is a Fundação partner
in the organization and test transmission. The technical organization
and Kit delivery will be made by specialized companies hired by
TV GLOBO and approved by Fundação Cásper Líbero.
1.3) The EVENT DEPARTURE is in Avenida Paulista, in front of MASP
and arrival in the same Avenida Paulista, in front of Fundação
Cásper Líbero Building, nº 900, in accordance
to the detailed course/racetrack divulged on the EVENT site (www.saosilvestre.com.br).
1.4) The EVENT beginning is foreseen according to the ATHLETE CATEGORY,
following the schedules related below, to be confirmed in the Kit
delivery.
The ORGANIZATION requests extreme attention to the sound system
calls in the Departure area for eventual adjustments in the respective
schedules.
MALE AND FEMALE WHEELCHAIR USERS
DEPARTURE is at 3 pm in only one squad.
GENERAL ATHLETES AND FEMALE ELITE CATEGORIES
DEPARTURE is at 3h15 pm in only one squad.
GENERAL ATHLETES AND MALE ELITE CATEGORIES
Departure is at 5 pm in only one squad.
SPECIAL NECESSITY CARRIER ATHLETES CATEGORY:
• DV = Visual Deficient (VD)
• AMP = Amputated/ Amputee (AMP)
• DMAI = Inferior Member Walker Deficient Athlete (IMDA)
DEPARTURE is at 5 pm in only one squad.
2. CATEGORIES AND PARTICIPATION RULES
The ATHLETES can participate of the EVENT through enrollments on
the following CATEGORIES: SPECIAL NECESSITY CARRIERS, ELITE and
GENERAL CATEGORY ATHLETES.
2.1)
SPECIAL NECESSITY CARRIER ATHLETES will be divided in:
CAD = Cadeirantes (Portuguese) = WCU
-Wheelchair users (English) – the ATHLETE who participates
in the competition with the aid of a Wheelchair (not motorized)
without the help of third people. The Chair type must be chosen
by the athlete, having no restrictions for the Organization part
to weight, dimensions and wheel numbers since that they obey the
competition standards or daily use.
DV = Deficientes Visuais (Portuguese) = VD
-Visual Deficient (English)– the ATHLETE without vision who
participates in the competition with an ATHLETE GUIDE. This companion
must be enrolled as a guide and will not compete for any of the
categories. The athlete must be joined to the guide by means of
a string (lace) to one of the hand fingers or to the arm, for all
course/racetrack, including the ARRIVAL. Independent of the deficiency
degree, or if the deficiency is in one or two sights, the athlete
must, obligatorily, run with the ATHLETE GUIDE not being able under
any hypothesis do it without this guide.
AMP = ATLETAS AMPUTADOS DE MEMBROS INFERIORES
(PORTUGUESE) = AMP - INFERIOR MEMBERS AMPUTEE ATHLETES
(ENGLISH) – The athlete who has deficiency in the inferior
member(s) that makes difficult to walk or to run or that run with
special prothesis (do not fit on this CATEGORY athletes who run
using crutches or canes).
DMAI = ATLETAS DEFICIENTES ANDANTES MEMBROS INFERIORES
(PORTUGUESE) = IMDA – INFERIOR MEMBER DEFICIENT
ATHLETES (ENGLISH) ATHLETES WHO CARRY INFERIOR MEMBERS DEFICIENCY
that makes difficult to walk or to run ( that uses canes, crutches,
walkers, and so on) and do not fit in any SPECIAL CATEGORY described
in this regulation.
COMMENTS:
a) The athlete who fits in any of the CATEGORIES above must fill
in the REGISTRATION exclusively by the site, according to the instructions
in it, and send the certified medical document (evidence) of the
deficiency, without paying the inscription value, in accordance
to the instructions below, in attention to the Responsible for ATHLETES
WHO CARRY SPECIAL NECESSITIES. After the Responsible analysis the
athlete will be informed through e-mail (when informed correctly
in the registration form) or telephone that its registration is
confirmed and accomplished.
b) To participate of this CATEGORY (ATHLETES WHO CARRY SPECIAL
NECESSITIES) the ATHLETE must request the REGISTRATION to the ORGANIZER
on the following way:
• Fill in a SPECIFIC REGISTRATION FORM in the EVENT site
and print it in legible way, according to the INDICATION above.
• Insert medical report in proper form, signed and stamped
with the doctor CRM that fits the athlete in one of the CATEGORIES
FOR SPECIAL NECESSITY CARRIER ATHLETES, available in this REGULATION.
c) Send the form filled and signed, as well as the medical declaration
to YESCOM, fax nº (0055) (11) 4208 7286.
d) If you do not receive a CONTACT from YESCOM, after 10 days the
date you sent the fax, contact again through the site, FALE
CONOSCO (TALK TO US)
IMPORTANT:
a) VISUAL DEFICIENT ATHLETES must indicate on their Registration
Form, COMPLETE (FULL) NAME, RG (IDENTIFICATION CARD), CPF, PASSPORT
NUMBER, SEX, BIRTH DATE and EMERGENCY TELEPHONE of their GUIDE ATHLETE.
The GUIDE ATHLETE must be duly enrolled in the race, using the same
Registration procedure of the ATHLETES WHO CARRY SPECIAL NECESSITIES.
When filling and sending the Registration Form the VISUAL DEFICIENT
ATHLETE must send the GUIDE ATHLETE REGISTRATION FORM. The subscription
only will be accepted if the GUIDE ATHLETE is indicated.
b) The ATHLETE who takes part in this CATEGORY (ATHLETES WHO CARRY
SPECIAL NECESSITIES) will not have right to any another kind (type)
of bonus except that foreseen to it, as described in the item “BONUS”
of this REGULATION.
c) The ORGANIZATION does not evaluate clinically the participant
deficiency degree on the SPECIAL NECESSITIES CARRIERS CATEGORY.
It only receives the medical report, to certify that the athlete
was submitted to an evaluation and fits in this CATEGORY. Therefore,
when participating of this CATEGORY, independent of the deficiency
and its degree, all participants of the same CATEGORY accept to
compete between them and assume the responsibility for the competition,
exempting the ORGANIZATION of the responsibility, as well as impressions
and technical evaluation for the physical capacity and advantages
that an athlete can get on the other due to different deficiency
degrees.
d) There will not be a bonus ceremony for ATHLETES WHO CARRY SPECIAL
NECESSITIES during or after the EVENT.
2.2 ELITE CATEGORY ATHLETE
a) It is part of this CATEGORY the ATHLETE who possesses a resume
of minimum times in official tests, according to the “REFERENCIAL
TIME” criteria defined by the ORGANIZATION and communicated
it by the athletes sending the registration form through the fax
(11) 3714-0506 to “EVENTS” technical organization –
detaching (emphasizing) in this, NAME, REGISTRATION DATE and in
which Test the athlete satisfied the REFERENCIAL TIME criterion.
b) The ATHLETE who takes part in this CATEGORY will not have right
to any another kind (type) of bonus except that foreseen to it,
as described in the item “BONUS” of this REGULATION.
c) In order to take part in male elite squad, the ATHLETE must
have REFERENCIAL TIME of 1h and 6 min in half marathon official
distance and 2h and 18 min in the marathon.
d) In order to take part in Female elite squad, the ATHLETE must
have REFERENCIAL TIME of 1h and 18 min in half marathon official
distance and 2h and 45 min in the marathon.
e) Athletes who do not possesses official time to this distance
and feel able to integrate the elite squad must send resumes for
analysis through the fax (0055) (11) 3714 0506 – to “EVENTS”
technical organization, and also present evidential documents of
their best times, in the “kit” withdrawal act.
f) The index (score) to elite athletes must be valued/ confirmed
in the last 12 months.
g) The maximum number of athletes to male elite with score is 100
participants; in the female elite is 50 participants. In squad “B”
there will be 200 guests according to the ORGANIZATION criterion
and 50 athletes classified in the Selectives, these, with the results
previously approved by the ORGANIZATION, according to Selectives
Rules.
2.3 ATHLETES IN SQUAD
“B” CATEGORY
a) It is part of this category the athlete invited by the ORGANIZATION
2.4 GENERAL CATEGORY ATHLETE
a) All athletes who do not fit specifically in any of the other
categories above related will be considered registered as GENERAL
CATEGORY ATHLETE.
b) The GENERAL CATEGORY ATHLETE will participate of the competition
taking as a reference the age ranking, defined in this REGULATION.
c) The ATHLETE who takes part in this CATEGORY will not have right
to any another kind (type) of bonus except that foreseen to it,
as described in the item “BONUS” of this REGULATION.
3 –
EVENT GENERAL RULES
3.1) When participating of this event the athlete assumes total
responsibility for the supplied data, accepts the REGULATION entirely,
assumes the transportation expenses, as well as lodging and feeding,
insurances and any other expenses necessary or proceeding from this
participation before, during and after the EVENT.
3.2) When participating of this EVENT, the ATHLETE allows/assign
to the EVENT ORGANIZATION all the rights for the using of its image,
photos, films or any kind of video, resigning the receiving of any
income that have been gained from television rights or any other
kind of transmission and/ or divulgation, promotions, Internet and
any other media or electronic feature at any time.
3.3) The ORGANIZATION do not have responsibility on the medical
attendance, however there will be for emergency attendances, an
ambulance service only for the athlete removal. The medical attendance
properly said, even in emergencies, as well as the attendance continuity
will be made by PUBLICAL SERVICE, under its responsibility.
3.4) The ATHLETE or the responsible companion are able to decide
for another medical attendance system (removal/ transference, hospital,
emergency service and doctor among others) exempting the ORGANIZATION
of any responsibility, direct or indirect on the consequences of
this decision.
3.5) The EVENT security will receive support from the competent
agencies and there will be monitors for the participant orientation.
3.6) Toilets and lockers will be placed at the participant disposal
on the DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL lines.
3.7) The ORGANIZATION does not recommend that VALUES are left in
the lockers such as: watches (clocks) clothes and high value accessories,
electronic equipment, stereo or cellular telephones, checks, credit
card and so on.
3.8) The ORGANIZATION will not be responsible for any object left
in the lockers, since that it is a courtesy service from the Race
ORGANIZATION.
3.9) There will not be reimbursement, on the ORGANIZATION part,
as well as for the SPONSORS, HELPERS and PRODUCERS, of any value
correspondent to equipment and/or accessories used or left by the
athletes in the event, independent of the reason, not even by material
misplacement or damage that the athletes come to suffer during the
EVENT participation.
3.10) Medical evaluation is strongly recommended and also the accomplishment
of previous ergometric test for all athletes.
3.11) Accesses in the Concentration Area and Departure will be
signaled. It is forbidden to jump the fences which delimited these
areas to enter the racetrack at the moment of the Departure or any
other moment, under any excuse.
3.12) The EVENT ORGANIZATION as well as SPONSORS, HELPERS and PRODUCERS
are not responsible for damages or damages caused by the athlete
enrolled in the EVENT, by third people or other participants. These
damages are of their unique and exclusive responsibility.
3.13) Any complaint on the Competition Extra Official Result must
be written, to the ORGANIZATION, until 30 days after the first result
publication in the EVENT site.
3.14) ORGANIZERS and ACCOMPLISHERS can suspend the EVENT at any
time by public security matters/questions, public acts, vandalism
and/or strong force reasons.
3.15) Athletes who at any moment do not obey the rules described
in this regulation, or for omission do not communicate (in written
register duly received by the ORGANIZERS) to the ORGANIZATION any
impediment of its part, can at any time be declassified of this
EVENT.
3.16) All ATHLETE has the obligation of filling in the EVENT REGISTRATION
FORM, available on the Internet through the site www.saosilvestre.com.br,
exempting the ORGANIZATION OF ANY LACK OF OBLIGATORY INFORMATION.
3.17) The athlete disputes the race for free and spontaneous will,
exempting of any responsibilities the EVENT ORGANIZERS, SPONSORS,
HELPERS and PRODUCERS, in its name – athlete - and its heirs.
3.18) Registrations are not transferable. Thus, the athlete who
register for the EVENT makes it in personal and not transferable
form, not having the possibility of the registration transference
to another athlete, as well as there will not have reimbursement
of the Registration Value.
3.19) The ATHLETE provides personal information (data) in the EVENT
REGISTRATION and authorizes ORGANIZERS, SPONSORS, HELPERS, ACCOMPLISHERS
and PARTNERS, at any time send to its name informative, direct mail
or any other correspondence type to the e-mail or physical address
(or any other provided/supplied address).
3.20) The CHEST NUMBER must be fixed in front of the athlete t-shirt.
3.21) The CHEST NUMBER using is obligatory. The number damage will
imply in the ATHLETE declassification.
3.22) It is from only and exclusive ATHLETE responsibility, the
position chosen by this ATHLETE in the DEPARTURE place, from the
positions available in the event, foreseen in the regulation, athlete
manual or disposed by the ORGANIZATION.
3.23) The ORGANIZATION reserves the right of changing /modifying
any item in this REGULATION without previous acknowledgement, according
to the EVENT necessities, informing these alterations /modifications
in the Kit withdrawal.
4
– EVENT SPECIFIC RULES
4.1) Minimum age for participation is 16 years old, completed until
the athlete registration date, that also will be considered for
age ranking classification purposes. If the ATHLETE is under 18
years old, a written authorization from the parents or responsible
will be necessary under the following conditions:
4.2) Authorization with registered/ recognized firm (signature)
and notorized copy of the parent or responsible identification document,
that must be presented by the athlete in the act of Kit withdrawal.
4.3) PARENT or responsible handwriting authorization made in the
act of kit withdrawal, being this person responsible for the minor
physically present at this moment. In this case, there will be also
the necessity of two witness signatures from people chosen by the
athlete in the kit withdrawal place.
4.4) REGISTRATIONS can be done by third, since that this person
is over 18 years old and presents an athlete written authorization
and a notorized copy of the athlete identification document that
must be presented in the act of the kit withdrawal.
4.5) Female and male tests will last 02h15 (Two hours and fifteen
minutes) at the maximum. It means, female group from 3pm to 5h15pm
and male group from 5pm to 7h15pm.
4.6) Athlete who will not be under the scheduled time can/could
be invited to leave the competition in any point of the course,
finishing the race at this point. From this moment on the ORGANIZATION
will not be responsible anymore for any kind of service or support
to the runner/racer.
4.7) Athletes invited to leave the competition must take/catch
the buses yielded by the ORGANIZATION and return to the DEPARTURE
line when this service will be available.
4.8) Only can take part in the EVENT, the ATHLETE who is not suspended
by the CBAT (Confederação Brasileira de Atletismo),
does not make use of doping substance and is not fulfilling any
kind of impeditive punishment imposed by Confederations or Federations,
effective on the EVENT time. The CBAT agent has a forbidden athlete
list. This will be read by the Congresso Técnico that will
be responsible for the identification and warning of the transgressor
athlete.
4.9) Anti doping tests can be made in the winner athletes through
the ORGANIZATION criteria, in accordance with rule/norm 07 from
CBAT Street Races Regulation.
4.10) Athlete must observe and obey the course or the delimited
route specified for the race, not being allowed any other auxiliary
way to reach any kind of advantage or the indicated passage cut.
4.11) It is forbidden the help of third people, such as cyclist
companion or any kind of hydration in movement, except on the supplying
points offered by the ORGANIZATION, as well as the use of any kind
of technological resource without previous written authorization
from the ORGANIZATION.
4.12) There will not be any kind of payment to any athlete. The
athlete participation on the event is individual.
4.13) Athlete assumes to be aware of its health condition and athletic
capacity and that has trained properly for the EVENT.
4.14) The ORGANIZATION, through the Diretoria Técnica reserves
the right to include athletes specially invited to the EVENT.
4.15) The test will score points for Rede Globo/Yescom Race rankings.
4.2 SELECTIVES
4.2.1 PROCEDURES
a. The ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE is able to authorize the accomplishment
of selective tests for Corrida Internacional de São Silvestre
(São Silvestre International Race), in the minimum distance
of 10 KM, by means of the interested written request and payment
of a tax of R$ 1.500,00 (one thousand and five hundred reais/reals),
being in the maximum 02 selectives for state, exception made to
São Paulo state.
b. Requests can be sent with minimum antecedence of 30 days before
the EVENT date, through the fax (0055) (11) 3170 5837 – in
attention to Gazeta Esportiva.Net. The last selective must happen
until December, 11th, 2006. Only the three first places will be
enrolled/registered. The winner will be classified to the elite
and the second and the third places classified to Squad “B”,
since that they fit in the necessary referential times.
c. The Selective Organization must send the winner Registration
Forms duly filled and signed by the classified athletes to the fax
(0055) (11) 3170 5837 – Gazeta Esportiva.Net, as well as the
respective Registration taxes / fees vouchers of each athlete until
the limit date - December 15th,2006.
4.3 – GONZAGUINHA
4.3.1) The pedestrian test “Sargento Luiz Gonzaga Rodrigues”,
called Gonzaguinha, promoted and accomplished by Escola de Educação
Física da Policia Militar do Estado de São Paulo,
in honor to the great athlete of that Corporation, one of São
Silvestre prominences, in the 50th decade, is selective, official
and considered as the last test to the main Brazilian athletes before
Corrida Internacional de São Silvestre (São Silvestre
International Race).
4.3.2) “GONZAGUINHA” classifies the 10 first men and
women to elite “A”.
4.3.3) For further information about “SARGENTO GONZAGUINHA”
race access the site www.yescom.com.br
5 – INVITATION CONDITIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS TO ELITE
ATHLETES.
The ORGANIZATION will invite for the EVENT:
5.1) Twenty (20) Brazilian Elite Athletes – 10 men and 10
women - according to Rede Globo/Yescom Ranking.
5.2) In case, for any reason, an invited athlete cannot compete,
the athlete subsequent on the ranking can be invited to fill in
the vacancy in accordance to the reply period stated in the invitation
letter.
5.3) Foreigner athletes can be invited according to the EVENT ORGANIZATION
criterion.
5.4) INVITED ATHLETES will have lodging costs in standard double
or triple apartments, as well as feeding in the same place, offered
and paid by the EVENT ORGANIZATION (limited to two dailies).
5.5) Brazilian Athlete Coaches (only these, not being accepted
any other companions) will have lodging costs in standard double
apartment and feeding paid by the EVENT ORGANIZATION (limited to
two dailies).
5.6) In case a Coach is responsible for more than one athlete or
is a team leader, this Coach will have the right to only one invitation.
5.7) In case of Ranking draw, the athlete chosen will be the best
classified in the same EVENT on the previous year, persisting the
draw, the athlete chosen will be the best classified in VOLTA INTERNACIONAL
DA PAMPULHA immediately previous to this EVENT, even so if the draw
persists, will be considered the best classified in MARATONA INTERNACIONAL
DE SÃO PAULO immediately previous to this EVENT.
5.8) Not being possible the decision about the draw following the
criteria above (5.7) the INVITED ATHLETE definition will be determined
and responsibility of the ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This year there will not have
Flying Tickets supply or air transportation reimbursement to invited
athletes and/or athletes who are part of the ranking.
6. RANKING FORMATION
CRITERIA
6.1) The Athlete classification in the ranking is merely referential.
6.2) The tests that compose the ranking are: 10 km Brasil, Maratona
Internacional de São Paulo, Meia Maratona Internacional do
Rio de Janeiro, Volta Internacional da Pampulha, 10 k Rio Corrida
Pan-Americana and Corrida Internacional de São Silvestre.
6.3) The Ranking is a result of athletes gained points sum in the
tests informed above. It is only considered the last previous editions,
within a maximum interval of 24 months.
6.4) Only Brazilian ranks will be considered for the RANKING
formation. Foreign Ranks will not be considered.
6.5) For each test (according to the classification) the athlete
gets a punctuation in accordance to the table later divulged on
line.
7) REGISTRATION,
VALUE AND TERM;
7.1) Registrations will be made through INTERNET, in Portuguese
or English. It is limited to the maximum number of 15.000 registered
athletes duly confirmed through the respective fee/tax payment.
7.2) Registrations for the EVENT costs:
7.3) R$ 105,00 (hundred-five reais/reals) from October 5th to November
30th, 2006 OR WHEN THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF 15.000 REGISTERED ATHLETES
BE REACHED.
7.4) The ORGANIZATION can at any time suspend or extend stated
periods, add or limit the EVENT registration number due to the necessities
and technical/structural availabilities without previous acknowledgement.
8) REGISTRATION FORM
8.1) Registration will be made only by INTERNET, through the site
www.saosilvestre.com.br, until November 30th, 2006. It can be extended
or anticipated finished, according to the ORGANIZATION criterion.
9) REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:
9.1) INTERNET
• Fill in the REGISTRATION FORM completely and correctly.
• Select the payment form: banking billet or credit card.
• Print the banking billet.
• Pay it according to the information on the banking billet
(under any circumstance banking billets paid after the due date
will be accepted as valid).
• Registration value and date will be considered in accordance
to the effective billet payment, no matter the Registration Form
date.
• The payment voucher is an unique document. The ORGANIZATION
does not have a copy of that.
10) KIT WITHDRAWAL AND IDENTIFICATION
a) Kit and “CHIP” deliveries will occur at the same
time, in December 27th and 28th, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and in December
29th and 30th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Mauro Pinheiro Gymnasium
– Rua Abílio Soares , 1300 (at 1300, Abilio Soares
Street) FOR ALL THE REGISTERED ATHLETES IN ANY OF THE AVAILABLE
CATEGORIES OF THE TEST REGULATION – WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
b) Kits will not be delivered on the EVENT day.
c) For the ATHLETE kit withdrawal, it is necessary to present:
• Identification document, with photo (RG [identification
card], driver’s license, passport).
• Payment voucher or Banking billet, ORIGINAL registration
payment (copies will not be accepted, under any hypothesis/circumstance).
These vouchers will be kept in the kit delivery counter.
d) The Athlete will receive a CHEST NUMBER together with the Kit.
10.1) “CHIP” WITHDRAWAL
a) The “Chip” withdrawal will occur together with the
kit delivery, in December 27th and 28th, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
and in December 29th and 30th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Mauro Pinheiro
Gymnasium – Rua Abílio Soares, 1300 (at 1300, Abilio
Soares Street) FOR ALL THE REGISTERED ATHLETES, IN ANY AVAILABLE
CATEGORIES OF THE TEST REGULATION – WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
b) In the “CHIP” Withdrawal act, the ATHLETE must check
personal data/information.
c) Register complaints will not be accepted after the “Chip”
withdrawal.
d) The “Chip” must be fixed to the tennis shoe string
(lace) on the right foot, in vertical position.
e) At the end of the race, the athlete must change the “chip”
for the participation medal.
f) The “chip” using is obligatory, causing the declassification
of the athlete who does not use it.
g) The athlete is responsible for the “chip”. Those
who loose the “chip” or do not return it must pay the
EVENT ORGANIZATION through a charging billet the amount of R$ 50,00
(FIFTY REAIS/ REALS), referring to its value.
11)
INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM RESPONSIBILITY TERM
I totally agree with the RESPONSIBILITY TERM, related to the topics
below.
I hereby declare/ acknowledge that:
• The personal data that had been or will be supplied to
accomplish this EVENT registration are of my total responsibility
and/ or my technical representative, controller or team coordinator.
• I have read and totally agree with the regulation/ rules
available in the EVENT REGULATION page.
• I participate in CORRIDA INTERNACIONAL DE SÃO SILVESTRE
2006 (2006 SÃO SILVESTRE INTERNATIONAL RACE) for my free
and spontaneous will, exempting of any responsibilities Organizers,
Sponsors, Helpers and Producers, in my own name and in my heirs.
• I am aware of my healthy condition and able for the participation,
in perfect health and have trained properly for the EVENT.
• I assume to repay any personal or material damage values
decurrent from/ caused by my participation during this EVENT.
• Through this instrument, I assign all the rights for my
images using (including arena rights), resigning the receiving of
any rent gained from divulgation material, campaigns, information,
TV transmission, clips, repetitions, journalistic material, commercial
promotions, licensings, photos and so on, at any time, place or
media available or that be implemented in the market for this and
other events, or in the actions described above carried for the
promoter (Fundação Cásper Líbero, through
the site Gazeta Esportiva.Net, Revista Andar & Correr [Andar
& Correr Magazine] and TV Gazeta) and São Silvestre Organizer
(TV Globo), through Yescom and/or its commercial partners.
•I am aware that in the registration or inscribing act, I
am automatically included in the Gazeta Esportiva.Net data base,
authorizing this, from this moment on, to send for my registered
e-mail or physical address, any kind of electronic or regular message/correspondence
to participate of any promotion or promotional act as well as commercial
developed by the same and its partners.
• I assume all the expenses for trip, lodging, feeding, transfers,
insurance, medical assistance and any other necessary expenses/
expenditures, or derived from my participation; before, during and
after the event.
• As coach, or team coordinator I agree with the Race/Test
Regulation and my responsibilities specified above, in any time
and/ or place.
• I accept do not carry or use in the EVENT area, including
racetrack (Course) and kit withdrawal place, or any area of the
Event visibility, divulgation or promotion material, any kind of
political, promotional or advertising, nor signboards that can be
seen for the others without previous and written authorization from
the Organization; and also, any kind of material or object that
puts in risk the Event security, participants and/ or the audience,
accepting the removal of this material or object by the Organization
inspectors or authorities in the areas informed above.
• In case of participation in this event, representing participant
teams or service performers (prestadores de serviço) or/and
any media or vehicle, I hereby declare have full knowledge and accept
the EVENT Regulation, as well as respect the areas designated for
the organization. Also, I am aware that is forbidden my participation
in the support structures for teams in inadequate place or that
interfere in the course of the event as well as my presence in forbidden
places without the Organization written authorization, being in
this case, removed at any time.
• Independent of my registration, as well as my participation
kit withdrawal, duly signed by me, or through my TRAINER/ COACH,
TEAM LEADER or COORDINATOR; I declare to be aware and agree with
all the Race Regulation text, having full knowledge of the test/race
norms and regulations.
12) EVENT CLASSIFICATION
a) The ATHLETE race classification will be defined according to
its rank (time/ arrival order) and will be published in the EVENT
site in the field “RESULTS”.
b) All athletes registered in GENERAL CATEGORY AND ELITE will be
part of the EVENT GENERAL CLASSIFICATION.
c) All athletes registered in GENERAL CATEGORY will be part of EVENT
AGE RANKING CLASSIFICATION.
13) BONUS
a) All ATHLETE who completes/finishes the EVENT in compliance with
this Regulation, will have right to the following specific bonuses:
13.1) GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
a) All ATHLETES who finish the RACE within the maximum estimated
time will receive a participation medal.
b) In the event date, only will receive the bonuses, represented
by trophies, those who have the right to it (in extra official form)
the five first ATHLETES classified in the TEST.
c) TO RANKING AGE, there will not have BONUS CERIMONY DURING AND
AFTER THE EVENT, NOT EVEN IN THE PODIUM OR ANY OTHER COMPLEMENTARY
CEREMONY. There will not have TROPHY DELIVERY NOR POSTERIOR SENDING
THROUGH THE POST OFFICE.
d) Any other bonus, except those foreseen in item 13.1, letter
b, will be delivered in the Event date either.
e) Extra official results on line will be divulged from 72 hours
after the Event ending.
f) Bonuses are not cumulative.
g) All Athletes who have their name called for bonus must immediately
go to the bonuses delivery area and receive them.
h) In case of Bonus in cash or incentive for reached objective,
the values presented refer to the total amount effectively paid
by the Organizer, fitting to each winner athlete the payment of
competent tributes.
i) Incentive bonus for reached objectives will be delivered, through
an incentive card, to the PARTICIPANTS which have the right to it,
until 90 days after the spreading/divulgation of the EVENT official
result by the ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE. For receiving the bonus payment,
the athlete must obey the criteria demanded by the ORGANIZATION
(awarding letter signed and notorized and certified copy of RG [Identification
Card] and CPF or Passport).
j) Incentive bonus for reached objective (including trophies, special
medals or any other kind of bonus) will be delivered to the PARTICIPANTS
which have the right to it., until 90 days after the spreading of
the EVENT official result by the ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE.
k) The EVENT official result depends on the official spreading/divulgation
of the anti doping tests results on the part of the competent authorities
or any other kind of restriction analysed/ considered by the ORGANIZATION.
l) The ORGANIZATION reserves the right of including any other bonus
type according to its criterion. This bonus will be spread/ divulged
on line.
13.2) EVENT GENERAL CLASSIFICATION BONUS
a) ATHLETES classified between the 1st (first) and the 5th (fifth)
places, male and female, in the EVENT GENERAL CLASSIFICATION, will
receive besides the participation medal, a trophy or a special medal.
b) ATHLETES classified between the 1st (first) and the 10th (tenth)
places, male or female, in the EVENT GENERAL CLASSIFICATION, have
the right to incentive bonus for reached objective, in accordance
with a table spread/ divulged in the EVENT site.
13.3) EVENT SPECIAL AGE RANKING CLASSIFICATION BONUS
a) THERE WILL NOT HAVE AGE RANKING BONUS, only the results verification
and publication in the EVENT site, according to the table below:

a) Athletes, according to the table below, who carry special necessities,
classified between the 1st (first) and the 3rd (third) places, receive
besides the participation medal, a trophy or a special medal, that
will be sent through the Post office.

a) ORGANIZATION can, according to its criterion, include some kind
of bonus or special participation.

c) ORGANIZATION can, according to its criterion or the EVENT necessities,
include or modify/change this Regulation, totally or partially.
d) Regulation Doubts and/or Omissions will be solved by the ORGANIZATION
COMMITTEE and/or by ORGANIZERS AND PRODUCERS in sovereign form,
not fitting recourses/appeals to these decisions.
